This review is from: Acer Aspire AS5742G-6426 Notebook Intel Core i3 370M(2.40GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M (Personal Computers) I bought this laptop to replace a gateway i had. It was basically the same specs but I constantly had a difficulty playing the newer games out there especially my beloved Fifa. So i wanted to upgrade. This laptop was exactly what i needed. The 1GB video card allows me to play the games i love without a hiccup. I really like the machine, it's color, the quality of the build as well as the battery life due to the NVidia Optimus technology which allows me to switch between video cards when neccessary to save battery. The one problem i found with this laptop is the keys on the keyboard. About 3 of them stick, they are hard to press and feel very stiff. You may find yourself pressing this key 4 or 5 times before it works. It feels as though the key is not seated comfortably on the spot where it should be. Other than this problem (which doesn't seem fixable and doesn't really bother me). This laptop is a great buy, great processor, good memory and great video card.
