HP DV7-4169wm, February 7, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: HP Argento 17.3" Pavilion Laptop PC with AMD Phenom II N850 Processor, Blu-ray Disc Drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, 4GB RAM, 640GB HARD DRIVE, COMPUTER (Electronics) I compared quite a few different versions of this laptop before deciding to get this one. First it is FAST! I can do anything on this laptop as well as I can on my desktop. I have always been a fan of the styling of HP laptops, and this one won't let you down in the looks department. The lid and palmrest are aluminum and have a textured finish to them, so you can feel the design, not just see it. The emblem on the back of the LCD lights up when it is on, I think that is pretty cool as well. The hardware inside this beast can handle anything you throw at it with ease! I haven't found anything short of cutting edge video games that will make it stutter at all. The screen is absolutely gorgeous! It is really super to put a Blu Ray movie in and sit back and relax. The Beats audio system works great if you are using headphones, or external speakers, but really the built in speakers do a great job too! This is a moderately heavy laptop at about 9 pounds, but I didn't buy it to pack it... Read more
