Great Computer, considering a few flaws., February 17, 2012 This review is from: Samsung Series 3 Laptop,Intel� Core(tm) i7-2670QM,6GB DDR3,500GB HDD,WebCam,15.6" HD LED Backlit Display,Intel HD 3000, Color: Black (Personal Computers) Two weeks ago, I bought this for myself at a local Micro Center (Saint Davids, PA), for only $600 plus tax. I absolutely love the performance and durability of this 15.6" laptop, of course considering a few flaws.
PROS:
Fairly lightweight,yet could be lighter
Fast Intel "Sandy Bridge" i7 processor.
Full keyboard+number pad (103 key)
OK customer service.
Battery CAN be more than six hours on lowest settings.
Slim Bezel
Fast Start and Resume (Really does resume in 3 seconds!)
Large Touchpad
Comes with Smasung-Only recovery disk, unlike other PCs
CONS:
Fingerprint attractive cover/keyboard.
Don't try to randomly hit keys, I made the screen go upside down and had to look all over for the solution (Ctrl+Alt+Up or Down.)
Only 3 USB 2.0 ports (Would have liked to see 4)
NOT for gaming. Only comes with a basic Intel Graphics 3000 card, even GTA IV would not load on it completely, for it would use up memory... Read more
