Iffy, April 25, 2011 This review is from: MSI GE620-021US 15.6 Full HD Laptop - Gray (Personal Computers) I have owned many laptops from nearly every major manufacturer. Some were great and some were not. After having owned many MSI desktop components which have been great so far I thought I would give this laptop a go.
It is a really nice looking laptop. The finish is nice for the price and it comes with many features only found on more expensive laptops such as the speakers which are by far the best I have ever heard in a laptop. You can also tell that this is a quad core 8gb laptop because it is quite fast. The 1080p resolution is also a welcome change from my 13" 1280x800 VAIO monitor and my scrolling finger is getting a much needed rest. I also love having a ten key as I use Excel for finance nearly every day.
There are some negatives however. I am not a fan of preloaded bloatware in general, but the software that comes with this laptop is particularly obnoxious. I assume the computer manufacturers get kickbacks from software companies but the annoying... Read more

Pros:
Its lightweight (at least 1kg less than my last 15 inch laptop)
Great components (quad core i7 + gt540 + 8gmRAM + 7200RPM HD +1080p screen for this price? where do I sign?)
Awesome sound (THX + 2.1 are a blast)
Great value for its price
Great keyboard (smooth and well spaced)
Really decent battery life (got it up to 2 hours of heavy use and almost 4 of internet browsing)
About its build quality, even though its plastic all around, it has a solid feel to it and it doesn't look at all cheap
Cons:
The S-Bar (its a minor thing, but you need to have the program open for the f-keys and the dvd eject button to work) Now why is that a con? because the program places a star in the center top of your screen which I find anoying and there is no way to hide.

This is the one I like..., April 22, 2011 This review is from: MSI GE620-021US 15.6 Full HD Laptop - Gray (Personal Computers) I have been using this laptop for about two weeks now and have no complains about its performance and build quality. This is a beautiful and powerful machine for both professionals and gamers alike.
Solid build,Intel Core i7-2630QM HRV 2.0GHz Processor,6MB Smart Cache 8GB DDR3 SDRAM 640GB SATA Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M with 1GB GDDR3 a 2.0 MP camera and much more.
I saw some negative reviews at another site, but those people didn't bother to read the instructions or rushed too quick to complain about things that could be easily adjusted to the right choice, with the click of a mouse button.
